Using both individual and group modalities, I work with youths, families, adults and couples who may be struggling with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, managing anger, emotional flooding, body image concerns, grief, or trauma.

I have experience with neurodiverse and neurotypical children and adolescents who demonstrate symptoms related to ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Anxiety/Mood Disorders, or developmental delays. For school-age children, I provide both individual and family counseling interventions as well as recommendations for the school district.

My practice is informed by psychodynamic principles with the application of evidence-based cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) practices, such as Motivational Interviewing, Dialectic Behavior Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. I am a certified trainer in the Nurtured Heart Approach, a relationship-based CBT method for helping youth and families build productive communication behaviors. Trained in Trauma Recovery, I assist at local schools when a traumatic loss has been sustained. I have developed practices for those who can benefit from Mindfulness exercises as a coping mechanism or for those who can make it an integral part of their lives.

My current private practice includes completing bio-psychosocial evaluations for the state and supervising clinicians working toward their licensure. My past agency employment has included working with children, families, and couples.

I assume a strengths-based perspective and work with clients to quickly develop goals, and regularly monitor progress toward achieving those goals.
